The Paush Purnima Snan is a deeply spiritual and devotional occasion. Occurring on the full moon day of the Paush month, it is of great religious significance, with devotees believing that taking a dip in the sacred waters on this day helps to purify the soul.

MAKAR SANKRANTI

This day is considered especially auspicious as the sun enters the Tropic of Cancer, marking the beginning of longer days and shorter nights. It is believed that on this day, the doors of heaven open from the earth, and by taking a sacred bath, the soul attains liberation with ease.

29 JAN 2025

MAUNI AMAVASYA

It is considered the day when the universe was created. On this auspicious day, it is believed that the water in the holy Ganges river transforms into nectar, and the gods are present within the sacred waters. Devotees observe a vow of complete silence, known as Maun Vrat, on this day to enhance their spiritual connection.

BASANT PANCHAMI

Basant Panchami marks the onset of the spring season and is celebrated as the fifth day of the spring. This day is also dedicated to the worship of the Hindu goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. On this occasion, hundreds of thousands of devout Hindus take a holy dip in the river to pay their respects and seek blessings.

ACHALA SAPTAMI

It is considered an auspicious day dedicated to Lord Surya (the Sun God), and is celebrated by performing special rituals, offering prayers, and taking a holy dip in sacred rivers to seek blessings for health, prosperity, and spiritual growth.

MAGHI POORNIMA

It is believed that taking a holy dip on Maghi Purnima can cure diseases, resolve various problems, and relieve a person of their sins.

MAHA SHIV RATRI

Mahashivratri marks the last day of the Kumbh Mela and is one of the most significant festivals in Hinduism. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that on this day, Lord Shiva married Goddess Parvati, symbolizing the union of divine energies.
